Styling Flex 2 applications

Last week I've presented at a user group meeting of CFUG Auckland via Breeze. We've got a pretty good turnout in terms of different domestc cities tuning in remotely as well.

Pretty cool! Joe Rinehart - also known as the inventor of ModelGlue, my preferred CF development framework, quit his job and started his own company: Firemoss!

I'm sure he'd be happy if you check out his site and services when looking for Adobe consulting over there in the US...!

Today I've got some issues with bloody COM objects in ColdFusion. I have to say that I was able to avoid dealing with this type of third-party integration most of the time up to now - but in this particular situation for this particular client, there was just no other way. I've received an .ocx file, which is basically an ActiveX control. This .ocx file had to be registered on the Windows server…
