Seat etiquette?

by kai on 28/10/2012

As some of you might know, I travel quite a bit and I could tell you lots of aviation-related stories covering the whole range from bizarre to awesome and funny. Currently I'm about 2/3 through a NZ-Singapore-Germany-Singapore-Australia-NZ trip and on yesterays's flight from Brisbane (where I was working with a client during the last week) to Melbourne (where I'm going to run a full day jQuery…

New side project: jquery.expand.js

by kai on 21/10/2012

I've got a new side project. Nothing major, but quite a bit of fun to play with: jquery.expand.js. Basically, it's a little jQuery plugin that provides functionality for collapsing and expanding part of an HTML site. CFCamp 2012 post-mortem

by kai on 21/10/2012

If you're dabbling with REPL-based…

2DDU (2 developers down under) podcast episode 26: Marcin and Phil

by kai on 13/10/2012

The other day, Mark and I recorded another episode of our 2DDU podcast. This time we're being joined by Marcin Szczepanski and Phil Haeusler. Right at the start Mark proves again that he has no clue how to pronounce non-Australian last names correctly (he's got a history there...:-) We've had a very nice chat with the two chaps that mainly centered around the cf.Objective(ANZ) talks. Marcin is…

Want to learn jQuery Mobile? In Munich or Melbourne? Book now!

by kai on 13/10/2012

This is just a quick reminder that I'm teaching a full-day jQuery Mobile workshop on two occasions in October. For both session there are still tickets available, at the same time both have enough attendees to def. go ahead and happen! The first one is next week, October 17 in Munich. It's part of CFCamp's CFAcademy and can be booked on the CFAcademy site. This session will be held in German…
