Kai Koenig (AgentK) is one of the co-founders of and works as Software Solutions Architect for Ventego Creative Ltd in Wellington, New Zealand. He’s also the CTO of Zen Ex Machina, a recently launched startup in the fields of digital & user experience consultancy.

The focus of Kai’s work is consulting, training, mentoring and development with Adobe’s enterprise and rich client technologies as well as the integration of those with a variety of other platforms. Besides working with Adobe technologies such as ColdFusion and CFML, Flex & AIR or Adobe Connect, Kai’s expertise and areas of interest are software and web architectures, Javascript frameworks and functional programming languages.

Kai is involved with the {Allaire|Macromedia|Adobe} community since 2001 and a regular presenter at international conferences speaking on web and rich client development technologies. He also publishes tutorials, reviews and other texts in Germany’s iX magazine and other magazines such as iX, Java Magazin, Visual X, Create Or Die,
