You want to learn Finnish – do it with Flash Lite

by kai on 16/10/2007

Flash Finnish v1.0: This one caught my particular interest because I used to learn Finnish…back in the days… πŸ™‚ Flash Finnish is a very nice vocabulary software for your mobile phone which needs to run Flash Lite 2.0 or higher.

I case you wonder why a German guy living in New Zealand used to learn Finnish… the language is highly logical and grammar-focussed – so it appealed to me more than the Roman languages such as Spannish or Italian etc. And opposed to Latin, it’s also not a dead language, although not spoken by too many people. And well, if Finnland wasn’t that far up north and reasonable dark and cold for a good amount of days during the year, who know where we would have ended up? πŸ™‚

Nice! Somebody who seems to know where we are…

It is not that dark in here, and summers are beautiful, most of the people speak english and we are quite friendly. Welcome to finland πŸ˜‰

Kaikkien pitΓ€isi opetella suomea, ei se ole kauhean vaikeaa πŸ˜‰ (Everybody should learn finnish, it is not that hard)

I’ll be passing this on, as I know at least one Finnish person here in NZ, and there are lots more! πŸ™‚
