MAX Korea 2006

But saying that (in my last entry) – I will have a chance to visit Asia around mid-November. Adobe invited me to come over to Seoul in Korea and talk about Flex during their MAX Korea 2006 conference. Actually, I’m pretty excited – this will be my first trip to Asia (besides being in airports and changing planes on my way to either Australia or New Zealand) – should be very interesting! I’m going to deliver an 80-minutes session on Flex Data Services named “Flex Data Services 101” on day 1 (November, 14th).

You might probably get the idea, it will be an introductory session about the concepts and the possibilities of Flex Data Services. I will cover the architecture and its J2EE foundation and the two core services, the Messaging Service and the Data Management Service. The target audience are developers who have knowledge in a technology such as Java or ColdFusion, some basic Flex knowledge would be helpful, but not required…

If you are in the area or if you even plan to go, make sure to catch up with me during the days and say hello 😉
